Brighter Futures, Luminous, and Ignite are The Child and Family Network Centers’ (CFNC) multi-year leadership giving programs for supporters who believe lasting change begins with sustained investment. Your commitment provides the flexible resources that strengthen classrooms, stabilize families, and ensure children enter school ready to thrive.

For more than 42 years, CFNC has helped under-resourced children build the foundation for lifelong learning, supporting 5,800+ families and strengthening the Alexandria community along the way.

With the help of BFS, CFNC has empowered over 5,000 families, and works every day to achieve the following goals: (1) ensure under-resourced children are prepared with the social, emotional, physical, language, and intellectual skills needed to succeed in an English-speaking kindergarten setting; (2) establish meaningful partnerships with families to grow school readiness and optimal development; (3) empower parents and caregivers with tools and resources to advocate for and support their child’s educational success long-term; and (4) ultimately see that the three- and four-year-old children we serve today have access to the tools they need to thrive, and thus graduate from high school and become successful, self-sufficient adults who positively contribute to their communities.
