Since the beginning of the Child and Family Network Centers, we have received the following organizational accomplishments:
Five of CFNC’s eight preschool classrooms continue to be accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Our other three preschool classrooms are in process of being accredited or are not eligible for accreditation simply because of their design.
CFNC is among the first preschool programs in Virginia to receive a 4/5-star rating from the Virginia Star Quality Initiative.
Greater Washington selected CFNC as one of 78 outstanding nonprofits to be featured in the 2018-2019 Catalogue, selected for excellence, cost-effectiveness, and impact.
After a rigorous application and interview process, CFNC was a finalist for the Center for Nonprofit Advancement’s Board Leadership Award, selected for our board’s dedication to governance and leadership.
In 2014, CFNC was praised by President Obama’s “Preschool for All” initiative as a national model for high-quality, bilingual preschools.
In 2015, CFNC received the prestigious Nonprofit Leader of the Year award by Leadership Fairfax.
The Child and Family Network Center has been awarded GuideStar’s platinum rating for our dedication to commitment and transparency.
The Child and Family Network Center has been awarded Charity Navigator’s 4-star rating for demonstrating strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency.
