CFNC Celebrates the First Week of School!

September 11, 2017 Lisa Carter

Tuesday, September 5 was the first day of school and we finally welcomed a brand new group of students into our classrooms for the year. For almost all of our students, this is their very first time in the classroom. For some, it’s their first time being around other children outside of their family. It’s a big change for them, and the first day often brings some tears. Each day, the tears die down and it becomes easier and easier to let go of family members and jump into the school day.

This year, CFNC is serving 138 children across 8 classrooms in Alexandria. Check out what CFNC students have been up to this week.
